Ghee Bobbatlu (also known as Nethi Bobbatlu or Puran Poli elsewhere) is a traditional South Indian sweet flatbread, particularly well known in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for festivals such as Ugadi, Sankranti, and Diwali. It is a sweet, stuffed flatbread—baked with liberal quantities of ghee—yielding a rich, golden, crisp outside and a soft, sweet, scented lentil-jaggery filling
